The work Homa creates has covered a wide range of aesthetics over the years but the wheel has kept a central stage in her approach. The inspiration comes without a doubt from old age Persian forms, evolving as she spent time in Japan. Her style is profoundly earthy often incorporating the landscape beauties of her native country in her more traditional and large scale vessels.

She still relays the deep historical connection to clay in her other more modern and functional pieces. Her work embodies her strength of character and perseverance. She has mastered all things related to pottery but as an avid learner she continues to push all her boundaries and her students’!
